A former assistant shop manager at Reasons to Be Cheerful coffee and ice cream shop, Carolyn Grean ran the daily operations. Her responsibilities included administrative oversight (including hiring and training new employees) scheduling and shift planning, cash management, and payroll processing for the then 30 employees. The small restaurant specialized in various ice creams, hot fudge, yogurts, coffees, and hot chocolate. Prior to that, Carolyn Grean was an office manager at Concord Health Center.
Between 2002 and 2011, she managed the daily operations at the small medical practice located in Concord, Massachusetts. Her tasks included daily and monthly accounting, organizing, and follow-up on patient appointments. The health center offered a range of integrative therapy services, including chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, behavioral medicine, and movement therapy.
Carolyn Grean is passionate about the outdoors and regularly participates in pickleball, biking, tennis, swimming, and kayaking. She also enjoys cooking, sewing, knitting, and arts and crafts. She sometimes engages in gardening, as well.
